Cravebox March 2011

Cravebox is getting in later and later in the month. It doesn't help that I am on the other side of the earth from them and it takes forever anyways but sheesh. I got mine yesterday (the 30th), they SAID it was shipped on the 19th but my tracking number says the 22nd. This month is a little exciting because there was 2 "make up" related items, even though I have said before, this isn't a box catered to just make up. There is one item in there however, that I am baffled as to why they would send. The card says "Spring is here and it's a great time to start living with Joie De Vivre and bring out that fun, happy-go-lucky you." Without giving out the contents of this box just yet, FUN does NOT mean go out and get shit faced drunk. I am sorry...

Makeup Show LA 2012

I was lucky enough to get a press pass to The Makeup Show LA this year (March 17 & 18) and had a blast. I went with Olivia and despite me picking a terrible hotel and fighting off the rain on day one, it was a great experience. I am not a working make up artist or even a make up artist at all. I don't freelance, I just blog about beauty boxes and I make eye shadow. I didn't go there to shop nor did I know what to expect. This was my first year going (although I have been to IMATS many times) and again, had a blast. This isn't going to be much of a post, just pictures that I took while I was there.
